BEST Japanese Restaurant

Aloha !
hope you guys had wonderful holidays and shopping ;)

This will be my last post..

so As everybody here always ask me

where is the best Japanese restaurant in here?

Introducing my Top 3
Japanese restaurant in Hawaii.

#3

Hinone Misunone

Its located on S King St,
kinda by McDonalds near Wallmart.

I would say this is the most affordable
Good Japanese Restaurant.

I love their chicken katsu and butter fish.

#2

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka

As many of you know
it is located in Don Quijote area,

The ramen itself is kinda pricy
but
i really love their spicy miso ramen.

I tried others but thats the one
you wanna eat.

I also loved their ikura-don.

#3

TEPPAN&SUSHI KAIWA

I would say this is the most expensive one
compare to the other two,

but this is the real Japanese food..

If you go in Happy Hour
its not that bad.

but yes kinda pricy...

but worth it!

I always take my mom
when she flies up here from Japan
 and she loved it too.

It is located in Waikiki beach walk
I believe there is no parking..?

My favorites are

Aburi Tuna Roll
Grilled Potato Cheese
Garlic Fried Rice

Perfect for some kinda special occasion!

So i hope you enjoyed my blog
and
wishing you all Happy Holidays!

Japanese snacks

Happy Thanksgiving Guys!
Hope you had all great time;)

This time I show you

the BEST
 Japanese snacks/candies

But, yes it is just
personal prefference

but i hope i give you guys some choices!

So these are my TOP 3
(Idk If Don Quixote has them...)

#3

Fettuccine
Gummies

My favorite flavor is Grape.
Its a little sour and has nice soft texture.

Idk why something about this
i can't stop eating.
i wish this comes with bigger sizes...lol

#2

Toppo

I think this is sold at Don Quixote..?
I'm just guessing because
I've seen someone eating on the bus lol

Its so hard to explain
what it is but basically

its bread snack stick with chocolate filling

I grew up with this and
is all time my favorite.

#1

Jagariko
Potato Sticks

I love this sooooo much.

when i go back home,
always buy tons of them
and bring them to hawaii.

My favorite flavor is Salad.
You can actually make
 Potato Salad !!
out of this
by pouring hot water and mix.

I am totally addicted to it.
If i see it i have to buy it...

I don't really usually buy
Japanese snacks in here
since its way too expensive,
so i do eat American snacks!

but i always afraid to buy
things that I've never tried..

So..
Please leave some comments
I really love to know
whats your favorite
American snacks;)

Favorites in Oahu

Aloha,

Today, i will be introducing
some of My Favorites
in this island Oahu...

"Ono Seafood"

Of course...
The Best place to get
Ahi poke

I haven't found any better
place than this so far..
 Personally, i love their

Spicy Ahi
with
Brown Rice

I usually eat white rice generally
but somehow
I like this place's brown rice.

"Yogur Story"

yes they're known for

Ube Pancake

when i saw this on some kind of magazine
i was shocked....

how purple it is.

but i love purple
i had to try....

Its not too sweet its not too caky
so I LOVED it!!

Good as boots and kimos to me!

"Via Gelato"

The best Gelato place ever!!

I saw this place on
my friend's Instagram
and
i had to try out
as a gelato lover...lol

Its inexpensive
compare to other gelato place
and
they use natural ingredients

SO YUM!!

If anybody goes via gelato a lot
please let me know
what flavor is the best!!

I love to try your favorite!

RAMEN

Aloha Guys!

Thanksgiving is around the corner,
which means

Turkey time!!

Since Japanese people don't cerebrate thanksgiving,

I'd never eaten Turkey before,
oh maybe i lied.....

I've eaten "turkey leg" in Disneyland.

but
not the turkey for Thanksgiving

Luckily every year I got to cerebrate with someone
Because my family is not here,
it is kind of hard to find someone cerebrating without family.

I don't know about this year
but probably visit my boyfriend's brothers family
like last year.

Speaking of family

I really miss my family in japan,
as well as their food..lol

Today, Im gonna show you

some of
my favorite food

RAMEN!!

This ramen was from
somewhere 5 mins away
from my house.
you can choose the spicy level

....and
i went with Level 4

which was a little spicy than regular one.

It was like $6
and yes of course as you can see

it was really really good.

personally it wasn't that spicy
but
definitely want to eat this when its winter.

This ramen was from Ramen Museum
in Yokohama(i guess..)

It is originally from
"Kagoshima"
which is south side of japan.

It was a little oily and had a lots of garlic in there,
but somehow it was easy to finish.

This was surprisingly mini size and was like $7-8..?

And this bomb is

MILK RAMEN

yes sounds very gross
but
You are wrong!lol

It is one of my favorite!
You may think it would be sweet
but it actually not.

It was from also 10 mins away from my house

If you have any chances to go Japan,
I suggest to eat

Ramen..

Because they're not comparable
with ramen in here
 both price and taste wise..

Please leave some comments if you guys have any questions

Happy Halloween!!

Did you guys have good time?

well, I did! lol
It was my first time
going out on halloween

because

i wasn't old enough
to get in bars last year..

I went to hallow balloo
Did anyone go?

well, of course i didnt cook that night

but

I have something to share thats
my all-time-favorite..

Hamburger Helper Spaghetti
w/ corn and cheese

I'd never known or heard of it until
My boyfriend (totally local)
taught me how to cook this.

i mean its super easy
not really consider "cooking"
but
he knew which was the best flavor

yes....

Spaghetti is the best!!!

I actually brought it to
Japan
and cooked for my family.

with spicy garlic edamame

and you can eat also with eggs....

I personally loved this one, the best....

I really thought it would be weird to eat
rice with spaghetti

as Japanese

it doesn't make any sense...

but It has to be eaten with rice...
somehow its better that way..lol

I am willing to know
if they got more good flavors.

Please leave some comments

if you ever used their product
or
 have favorite ones.

Shoyu Chicken

Aloha

I've been sort of busy recently
and didn't have much time to cook,

(seriously going back and force to
zippys for like days....)

so i just pulled out some old pictures
from a few months ago.

This is one of my favorite plate
i made so far.

"Shoyu Chicken
with Garlic
and
Basil Rice"

Basil Rice...? sounds weird huh?
I mean it just looks like

"Green colored rice" lol

but

it actually really good.

when you cook rice
just put

Pre-made basil pasta sauce
Bacon or sausage
Corn

into the rice cooker.

and after all done,
you put parmesan cheese on top.

(makes a lot of difference)

Unfortunately...
it was the only picture
i found on my phone

so i can't really show how it exactly looks like

Sorry...

will make it again
and take better pictures....lol

Please leave some comments
 if you have any questions

Mahalo nui loa,
