Shoyu Chicken

Aloha

I've been sort of busy recently
and didn't have much time to cook,

(seriously going back and force to
zippys for like days....)

so i just pulled out some old pictures
from a few months ago.

This is one of my favorite plate
i made so far.

"Shoyu Chicken
with Garlic
and
Basil Rice"

Basil Rice...? sounds weird huh?
I mean it just looks like

"Green colored rice" lol

but

it actually really good.

when you cook rice
just put

Pre-made basil pasta sauce
Bacon or sausage
Corn

into the rice cooker.

and after all done,
you put parmesan cheese on top.

(makes a lot of difference)

Unfortunately...
it was the only picture
i found on my phone

so i can't really show how it exactly looks like

Sorry...

will make it again
and take better pictures....lol

What is your favorite food?

well, I'm an asian, of course
Japanese Food is on top of my head,

but

I also love
Local food...

Like....
Coco & Crackers!

I would say this is local snack(not food)
but it is one of my Favorite..

one day at hula practice...
My hula sisters were talking
about
how do they make coco & crackers.

some girls put
 marshmallows in..

some girls put
some butter in..

but By that time,
I had no idea about coco & crackers..
I was like...
what are they talking about?

so i asked my boyfriend about it,
and
he made it for me.

Oh yes, it is good!

First i thought it would be
so weird
to eat crackers in a bowl,
soaking in coco...

but surprisingly it is ono...

All you need is

Coco
 and
Crackers
(Soda Crackers)

Now I'm craving for this...

What was your dinner?

ALOHA,
What did you eat for your dinner today?

well, i had this....

Olio e Peperoncino

You only need

Spagetti Pasta
Olive Oil
Bacon
Garlic
Chili Pepper
Cabbage

The Traditional Italian Peperoncino,
is without meat or vegetables.
It is just plain Olive Oil with Garlic Pasta.

but

I grew up with this with those ingredients.
Its also common home-cooking dish in Japan.

and I love....

Bacon!! lol

i mean who doesn't like Bacon?

personally, this is my favorite Pasta.

cooking takes time and a lot of work,
but tastes much better than fast-food
and saves your $$.

now....

are you ready to try?lol

My love for Food

Who hates food?
Everyday, we eat something
We eat food entire life.

Me, personally love food in Hawaii
as well as in Japan, my home country

So..

I'll post Food that was
ono, interesting, or
even disgusting
to me.

So, the very first picture on the top was cooked by me.
yes, i do cook but very rarely..

it is "Shrimp with Chili sauce"
in Japanese "Ebi(shrimp) Chili"

I guess it was originally Chinese food
but Japanese people recreated it into Japanese Taste.

It is a very common home-cooking dish in Japan.

I don't know why Hawaii doesn't have
any Japanese restaurants that serve this because
its sooooooooooo good. (if you know one, lmk)

So how did i cook?

I just stir fly the shrimp with

-precooked sauce (Brand: CookDo)
from Don Quixote
-chopped green onion...

very easy...

Now you are hungry... aren't you?lol

Please leave some comment
if you have any questions
about this dish..

Mahalo!!
